The EsportsCon Malaysia 2024, organised by the Youth and Sports Ministry (KBS) through Esports Integrated (ESI), marks a significant milestone as it takes place for the first time at ESI Hub in Spacerubix, Puchong, on 6 January 2024.
ESI, in an official statement, revealed that the convention serves as a platform for connecting, interacting, networking, and gaining insights into Malaysia’s esports industry for enthusiasts across the country, according to Bernama.
The statement stated that admission is free for all, providing a convenient way for individuals to attend EsportsCon 2024 at Spacerubix, the designated hub for the event.
The event promises diverse and captivating content, including a gaming and technology expo, discussions with industry experts, showmatches, and opportunities for meet-and-greets with Key Opinion Leaders (KOL).
ESI highlighted that the convention extends beyond entertainment, featuring academic exhibitions by universities, cosplay shows, career counseling services, indie game demos, mini contests, and lucky draws.
Moreover, in addition to gaming, esports, and animation displays, visitors will have the chance to explore cutting-edge gaming technology devices such as sophisticated console systems and up-to-date smartphones available in the market.
