The government has approved 6.5 million eMadani applications and RM650 million has been credited to eligible Malaysians, according to Deputy Finance Minister Ahmad Maslan.
Ahmad was quoted by Bernama saying that the approval of 1.8 million applications is still pending and it will take one to five days.
A huge number of people have applied in these three days, even though we are open until February 20, 2024, and can be cashed in until February 29, next year. However, those who feel that they are eligible but fail in the application can appeal.

Failing to file taxes one Of the reasons why applications were rejected
Commenting on approvals, he mentioned that one of the reasons why some applications were rejected was because they failed to file their 2022 taxes.
Maslan said that this is because eMadani’s approval system is based on 2022 tax return assessments if the applicant is not a Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah recipient.
If they make a tax declaration and are still ineligible, there is a possibility of discrepancy in their names’ registration between the e-wallet platforms and IRB records, and they can appeal. For example, individuals who are unable to apply also include university students, because they have received eBeliaRahmah.
