Oppo Malaysia today announced the launch of the Oppo A58, the newest addition to its A-series family of smartphones.
The new A58 smartphone is powered by the 4G-enabled MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with a Mali G52 MC2 GPU. It’s coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage and offers expandable storage via a microSD card slot.
The phone boasts a 6.72-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution (2400 x 1080 pixels), a 60Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and a max brightness of 680 nits.
For its camera capabilities, the rear of the phone features a dual camera setup consisting of an AI-enhanced 50MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor for portrait shots. On the front, an 8MP selfie camera is housed within the punch-hole cutout of the display.
To keep the phone running, there’s a 5,000mAh battery, which Oppo claims can support up to 32 hours of phone calls, 16 hours of video streaming, or five hours of continuous gaming on a full charge. The 33W SUPERVOOC fast charging via USB-C enables a full charge in just 75 minutes.
The phone is using ColorOS 13.1 based on Android 13, includes a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and water and dust resistance rating of IP54.

The Oppo A58 is available in Glowing Black or Dazzling Green colourways and it’s now available for purchase in Malaysia for RM699.
