Pac-Man, a beloved arcade game icon, burst onto the scene in the early 1980s and quickly captured the hearts and minds of gamers worldwide. Created by Toru Iwatani, this classic game revolves around a simple yet addictive concept: guide Pac-Man, a hungry yellow circle with a chomping mouth, through a maze filled with power pellets and ghosts.

As players manoeuvred Pac-Man through the labyrinthine corridors, they devoured dots, fruit, and occasionally power pellets to turn the tables on the pursuing ghosts, Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. Even after decades, Pac-Man continues to be a cherished part of gaming history, and now it has been Lego-fied.

Just recently, Lego unveiled a premium set inspired by the iconic 1980s arcade game. This meticulously crafted set comprises an impressive 2,650 pieces and aims to faithfully recreate the beloved Pac-Man arcade cabinet. It boasts several intricate features, including an illuminating coin-slot, a four-way joystick, and a captivating mechanical chase mechanism.

One notable element is a side crank on the cabinet that allows users to maneuver the characters within the game’s maze. Additionally, the set includes a diorama featuring a figurine playing a miniaturised version of the arcade cabinet. Perched atop the cabinet are rotating renditions of Pac-Man himself and the mischievous ghosts, Blinky and Clyde.
