ChatGPT, a large language model (LLM) artificial intelligence (AI) created by OpenAI is currently the king of AI chatbot. Google recently introduced their own AI called “Bard“, seeks to challenge ChatGPT dominance’s on the AI market. Now Elon Musk also wanted to do the same.

According to Reuters, Elon Musk has announced plans to launch a new AI platform called “TruthGPT” to challenge ChatGPT. He said the platform will be a “maximum truth-seeking AI” that seeks to understand the nature of the universe.

Musk has been recruiting AI researchers from Google to help launch a startup to rival OpenAI, but has also called for a pause in the development of more powerful AI systems due to potential risks to society.

Despite his involvement with OpenAI, Musk has warned about the dangers of AI and tweeted about the need for AI regulation. We reported previously that the US is considering regulating AIs because there are concerns in terms of legality, effectiveness, ethical, safety, and trustworthiness.

He was one of the co-founders of OpenAI in 2015, but he resigned from the company’s board in 2018. He cited the need to concentrate on his other ventures, Tesla and SpaceX, as the reason for his departure.
