The giant instant-messaging company is rolling out a new feature that allow users to do more than just typing and sending messages.
According to WABetaInfo, with this revamped text editor, users can edit images, videos, and GIFs by using new tools and fonts. This feature is rolling out to some beta testers.

This feature goes beyond simply editing texts. It’s a new editing tool for WhatsApp that enables users to edit various types of files, including images, GIFs, and videos.
The beta version of this feature is currently available for Android users, but an iOS version is in the works. Users have the ability to choose from a selection of fonts, and they can also customize the fonts to their liking if they do not want to use the pre-existing options.
In addition to adding text to videos and images, users can also customize their texts and add them to media files before sharing. Users can also align their text to the left, right, or center, and even change the background color of their text.
The feature includes some predefined text options for beta testing, such as Calistoga, Courier Prime, Damion, Exo 2, and Morning Breeze. More text options will likely be added in future updates.
