More Controls For Admins

WhatsApp has developed a tool to empower group admins with greater control over their group’s privacy, as more individuals become part of communities. This tool enables admins to determine who can join a group when sharing the group’s invitation link or making it available to the public. Since groups are where individuals engage in personal conversations, it’s crucial for admins to have the ability to quickly and effortlessly decide who is allowed to enter and who is not.

Quickly Identify Common Groups

WhatsApp intends to facilitate the identification of common groups among users as Communities and their larger groups continue to expand. Users can conveniently search for a contact’s name to discover shared groups or recall a group’s name that they know they share with someone.

These features will be gradually introduced worldwide in the upcoming weeks, according to the company’s announcement.
