Malaysia’s newest digital bank Rize — powered by alrajhi bank Malaysia — has thrown down the gauntlet. It is inviting gamers to take on alrajhi bank Malaysia Chief Executive Officer Arsalaan (Oz) Ahmed in the Rize Streetfighter Duel.

Oz, an avid gamer, is ready to play as many challengers as he can between 3pm and 5pm  this weekend (Saturday 11 March 2023 and Sunday 12 March 2023) at the Rize booth outside Fahrenheit88 mall. Each challenger is allowed to engage in one game (3 rounds per game),  and the duel features Street Fighter 4 played on a PlayStation 5.

Whoever defeats Oz over one game will win RM200—which will be credited into their newly activated Rize Savings Account-I within three (3) working days.

The Rize Streetfighter Duel is only open to new Rize customers who download and activate their accounts on the Rize app between 9 and 12 March 2023.

Players must sign up for the duel by PM-ing or DM-ing Rize the following details on Rize  Facebook (RizeMY) or Rize Instagram (@rize.my) before 3pm on Sunday 12 Mar 2023: • Name (same as on Rize account):

• Mobile number:

• Preferred challenge date: (Sat, 11 Mar or Sun, 12 Mar)

While winners get to walk away with the cash prize and bragging rights for having defeated one of Malaysia’s youngest bank CEOs (who’s also a dab hand at Streetfighter) in a duel to the finish, those who concede to Oz will still win awesome Rize merchandize.

Oz said “I’ve been practising, take me on. I won’t give any chances, but I’ll be very glad to concede if I lose because this is what Rize is all about — helping you Discover Your More. Show us what you’re capable of and we’ll reward you. Rize was conceived by our love for innovation for our customers and we’re here to inspire and empower our customers. That goes beyond banking and beyond profits.”
