Huawei Malaysia is hopping into the year of Rabbit by introducing its soon-to-be-
launched True Wireless Stereo (TWS) earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC), Huawei
FreeBuds 5i.

Thanks to the advancement in the field of wireless tech and the overwhelming response received from its predecessor FreeBuds 4i, Huawei Malaysia managed to make its upcoming Huawei FreeBuds 5i more affordable compared to other brands available in the market – while not compromising on its pioneering technology.

The Huawei FreeBuds 5i has been awarded the Hi-Res Audio Wireless (Hi-Res) certification that exhibits a wider frequency response, and lossless high-resolution sound for HD audio sources. The TWS is using 10 mm dynamic drivers with polymer composite diaphragm, and Huawei said this will deliver sterling sound at low, medium, and high frequencies, making it an ideal for pop music.

The TWS also has dual-mic active noise cancellation (ANC), equalizer (EQ) modes, up to 28 hours long battery life (with charging case) according to Huawei. It can also fast charge with four hours of playback on a 15-minutes charge, as well as using Bluetooth 5.2 with Dual Device Connection for seamless switching over different devices and operating systems.

In addition, the TWS is dust, water, and splash resistant, with an IP54 rating. Each earbud stem has embedded touch pads that are used for controls.

There are three colour options for the FreeBuds 5i: Nebula Black, Isle Blue, and Ceramic White and it’s coming on 25 January 2023.

To celebrate the launch, Huawei is also having a “Guess & Win” online contest from now until 24 January – where the brand will be giving away three units of FreeBuds 5i to three lucky winners.
