During a media briefing about Touch ‘n Go eWallet (TnG) security upgrades last month, the company informed us that they are planning to launch a prepaid Visa card sometime around this month. There’s only eight days left before the end of this year, but TnG has been preparing for it because they have created a list of questions on their FAQ page.

Amanz reported that they have spotted TnG Digital FAQ now has a page specifically for the prepaid Visa card.

But when we try to click on the questions, we can’t access it and it directed us to a login page.

The prepaid Visa card is much more convenient than using TnG eWallet because you can only use the eWallet in selected countries, but a Visa card is more widely accepted around the world.

However, you can’t use the Visa as a TnG card because the chip inside the card can only support PayWave functionality.

We don’t think TnG will be able to launch the Visa card this year, so we assumed it would be early next year instead. We will provide updates on this once we have more information about it.
