There are plenty of streaming services to choose from if you use an Android smartphone or a tablet. For example, you can get Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Amazon Prime Video, Viu, and many others. But Apple’s own streaming service, Apple TV+, is not one of them. However, according to a leaker, that is about to change.

Gizmodo reported that a reliable leaker, ShrimpApplePro, tweeted that the Apple TV+ app is coming to Android devices soon and it’s now undergoing internal testing.

Besides the Apple TV+ app, the Apple Music app is getting updated for Android as well. For the moment, only Android TV/Google TV-enabled TVs, streaming boxes, and dongles can be used to stream Apple TV+ content.

Previously, Apple refused to bring the app to Android devices because they believe it might hurt iPhone sales. It seems the trillions dollar company finally figured out that they could make more money if they allow more Android devices to access Apple TV+ as well.

Of course, this is just a rumour. Until Apple officially makes an announcement, take everything you read with a grain of salt.
