Just very recently, Touch ‘n Go eWallet (TnG) launched a gingerbread man keychain with an embedded enhanced TnG card in it. It has proven to be very popular probably because it’s cute and certainly more attractive-looking than a normal TnG card. Today, the company launched yet another product, but this time, it’s not for the consumers.
TnG eWallet launched their Touch ‘n Go eWallet Soundbox and it is meant for businesses who want to have an audio notification whenever a customer pays using TnG eWallet.
Using the Soundbox, businesses don’t need to manually check their app to confirm a customer’s payment.
Each unit is registered to a specific business QR, and the Soundbox must be linked to the internet either over a Wi-Fi network or with its built-in mobile network capability.
Businesses can opt to buy the device as a standalone unit or with a SIM card, which has a regular subscription period of 12 months. The standalone Soundbox costs RM 59.50 while the Soundbox with SIM Card package costs RM 139.50. The normal retail price of the Soundbox is RM 260.
