Don’t you just hate it when you are paying for your Netflix subscription but someone unknown to you is using your account for free? And the only way to get rid of them was to sign out of all devices and then sign back in. If you are using Netflix on more than one device, this is such a hassle.

Netflix understands your pain and they have finally implemented a feature where you can view recent devices that have streamed from your account and allow you to boot unrecognised devices off your account with just one click. No more signing out and signing in again!

This feature is already available to all Netflix users on the web, iOS and Android. If you want to protect your account from uninvited access, here are some of the things you can do:

  • Create a password that you only use for Netflix.
  • As long as possible, at least more than 8 characters.
  • Use a combination of letters, numbers, and symbols.
  • Combine different unrelated words in your password.
