Recently, rumours of PerantiSiswa recipients allegedly wanting to sell their tablets went viral after screenshots of the devices appeared on online shopping platforms at the price of around RM800 to RM1,000.
Among the items to be sold is the tablet itself, the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8, along with other items such as the Smart Keyboard Trio, Case, and Stylus Pen.
Some of them wanted to sell the tab to buy an iPad instead while others mentioned that they want to let go of the device go because it wasn’t being used.

Here’s How To Turn Your Tab Into A Second Screen
Recently, A Twitter user (@qawitherev666) tweeted several tips on how PerantiSiswa recipients can make their learning experience easier.
In fact, you can make the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 given through the PerantiSiswa program as your laptop’s second screen.

FOOTNOTE: This only works if you connect Android 10 devices to Windows 10 and Windows 11 PCs only. It’s not compatible if you’re using iPad OS, macOS, or a device that runs on an older version of Android.
- Download SpaceDesk into Windows.
- After completing the download on your PC, download the SpaceDesk app on the tablet.
- Make sure your computer has Internet access.
- Go to the ‘Settings’ section on Windows. Click ‘Network & Internet’ and enable ‘Mobile Hotspot’.
- Connect your tablet to the ‘Mobile Hotspot’ from your Windows laptop or desktop.
- Open the SpaceDesk app on the tablet and click on the ‘Mobile Hotspot’ connection.
- Your Android Tab has now successfully become a second screen.
- To enable the second screen on your computer, you’ll need to press Windows+P to change the display screen.
