For Perakians who are trying to look for a job, the state government has something announced just for you.

Malay Mail reported the Perak state government, through Pusat Aspirasi Anak Perak (Pasak), launched the “Talent Perak” application for job seekers in the state.

Who and what is Pasak? They seem to be a skill and talent development hub located in Ipoh. They are offering online workshops on digital marketing, graphic design, Microsoft Office products, and a few others.

The application may be downloaded to smartphones from the Google Play Store and used starting from now, according to Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Saarani Mohamad.

He said that job seekers may now go on and look for openings online using criteria such as location, industry, studies, and demographic groups.

Talent Perak is currently in the Beta version stage and Pasak will seek input and feedback from users to ensure that the application can be accessed smoothly.

The development of the application is one of the ongoing efforts by the state government to focus on providing opportunities and preparing the skilled workforce needed by the industry in addition to improving the marketability of Perak graduates.

The new application, according to Saarani, is one of the six key goals of Perak Sejahtera 2030, which is data-driven decision-making.

According to him, it was in keeping with the state government’s pledge to establish new industrial areas and to accommodate the growing demand from international corporations to establish or extend operations in the state.

It looks like the Talent Perak app is only available for Android users.
