When you are engrossed in playing an Android game on your phone but it is time to work, don’t you wish you could continue playing the game on the computer without downloading any emulators? Google has just the solution for that.

People living in Australia, Hong Kong, South Korea, Taiwan and Thailand will be able to join the Google Play Games open beta.

What is Google Play Games?

It is a PC application that lets you browse, download, and play select mobile games on a Windows desktop or laptop. Besides enjoying your favorite Android games on a PC, you’ll have keyboard and mouse access, seamless sync across devices, and integration with Google Play Points.

Right now, only people from these countries get to enjoy this service. If you are using Windows 11, you can also download apps from the Amazon Appstore (only for US-based people), but you can try to sideload the Android apps onto your computer as well.

Google said currently, there are over 40 games available right now and they will be adding more in the future. For example, Asphalt 9: Legends, CookieRun: Ovenbreak, TopWar: Battle Game, Summoners War and more.

The company also added they will be expanding this service to other regions in 2022 and beyond.

The requirements to run Google Play Games are very low, even a potato PC can run it. Unfortunately, this service is not available for Mac users.

Hopefully, this service will be coming to Malaysia soon since our neighbour to the north can already try it.
