Starting today, all WhatsApp users around the world can use the Move to iOS app to transfer their WhatsApp chat from an Android device to an iPhone. This includes the chat history, photos, videos, and voice messages.
The feature was first released in beta last month but it is now a part of the Move to iOS app that’s free in the Google Play Store.
The Move to iOS app, as it says on the tin, is an app that helps users transfer the apps and data on their Android device to their iOS device. Take note that not all Android apps are available on iOS.
The whole process takes eight steps and they are all detailed in the recently updated Apple Support page.
Those who use iOS can also transfer their WhatsApp data to Android, but the process is still not straightforward as it depends on multiple factors such as device maker and version of Android.
