OnePlus Latest Flagship Killers Arriving In Malaysia On 19 July

OnePlus has announced that they are bringing the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G to the Malaysian market very soon. 

Both devices are touted as flagship killers, smartphones with top-of-the-line performance at a fraction of the price.

OnePlus Nord 2T 5G 

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G has the same 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging as the OnePlus 10 Pro which can charge the device’s 4,500-mAh dual-cell battery from 1-100% in 27 minutes.

To guarantee that it is safe, it is also TÜV Rheinland certified, has 9 built-in temperature sensors to monitor, and an independent integrated circuit (IC) manages the charging system.

The main camera on the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G uses a 50 MP Sony IMX766 sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), the same as the one on the OnePlus 10R. It also has an 8MP 120° ultra-wide camera, and a 2 MP mono lens. 

For selfies, there’s the 32 MP front-facing camera, the same one that the OnePlus 10 Pro has.

Enhancing the device’s photographic and video capabilities is its MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset that is paired with up to 12 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

The display on the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G is a 6.43-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with a 90Hz refresh rate, and dual ambient light sensors.

Of course, the fan favourite OxygenOS 12.1, which is based on Android 12, is preinstalled. 

OnePlus promises that the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G will receive 2 major Android updates and 3 years of security updates.

OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is built on the Snapdragon 695 5G Mobile Platform with 8 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128 GB of storage.

It has a larger 5,000-mAh battery that is 33W SUPERVOOC compatible. It can top up its battery from 1-50% in just 30 minutes. 

The face of the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G is a 6.59-inch FHD+ LCD display with a dynamic 120-Hz refresh rate.

It also has a game mode, runs on OxygenOS 12.1, and will receive 2 major Android updates and 3 years of security updates.

As for the cameras, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite has a 64 MP main camera, a 2 MP depth-assist camera, and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera. On the front side is a 16 MP camera with electronic image stabilisation (EIS).

The OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G comes in Blue Tide and Black Dusk.

OnePlus Buds Pro and OnePlus Nord Buds

Meanwhile, OnePlus also introduced the OnePlus Buds Pro and the OnePlus Nord Buds.

The OnePlus Buds Pro is the brand’s first “smart” adaptive noise cancellation (ANC) earbuds while the OnePlus Nord Buds is the more affordable counterpart.

Pricing and Availability

The OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite 5G, OnePlus Nord Buds, and OnePlus Buds Pro will be available for purchase from 19 July 2022 at OnePlus retail stores, OnePlus authorized dealers and the OnePlus official website, as well as OnePlus flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada.
