The Ministry of Communications and Multimedia Malaysia (K-KOMM) through the Malaysian Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has launched another Digital Content Grant (DCG).

This time, the grant is under the Creative Industry Stimulus Package (PRISMA) which begins on 14 June.

The Digital Content Grant Prisma (DGC Prisma) offers funding of up to RM50,000 to companies, enterprises, and sole proprietorships or limited liability partnerships (LLPs) to develop new or existing digital content in the marketplace.

The content can be in the form of animation, digital comics, interactive media, and digital games.

I am confident that through this DGC Prisma, MDEC will not only provide access to funding but also assist them in the production of marketable digital content as their ideas will be evaluated by a panel of industry experts.

Communications and Multimedia Minister (MenKOMM), Tan Sri Annuar Musa.

Selected applicants will be invited to a presentation session scheduled for August and projects that are approved will be announced by September.

Upon approval, grant recipients will be given six months to complete their digital content.

Registration for the 2022 Digital Content Grant is now open until 29 July 29 and those interested can visit https://mdec.my/dcgprisma2022 for more information.

If DGC Prisma sounds familiar to you, that’s probably because it is similar to the Digital Content Grant (DCG) announced earlier this year. You can read more about it here:
