Samsung Malaysia Electronics recently launched their latest Neo QLED 8K TVs at a media showcase in Kuala Lumpur.
These new TVs come with h Quantum Matrix Technology Pro (with Quantum Mini LED) and Shape Adaptive Light Control.
These two technologies work in concert to make sure what’s on-screen is lit up or darkened appropriately. What makes it special is the level of granularity that the TV can achieve.
This translates to improved contrast, greater details, and picture quality that you’ve probably never seen before.
To match the visual quality, the audio on the Neo QLED 8K TVs are engineered with Dolby Atmos Experience Sound and the Q-series Soundbar in mind.
Samsung’s Neo QLED 8K TV also packs some serious brains and features:
- For work, it could connect to PCs remotely and become a wireless secondary display, and supports multi-device pairing via Samsung DeX and Microsoft 365.
- For play, it has gaming-specific features like AMD FreeSync Premium Pro for PC games, Motion Xcelerator Turbo Pro to emulate smooth 144Hz motion and a control panel called the Game Bar.
- For workouts (as Samsung puts it), the TV has a split-screen feature – so you can watch a workout video and something else at the same time – and is compatible with Samsung SlimFit Cam which could also be used for video calls.

Meanwhile, Sengheng and Samsung have partnered up to open Kuala Lumpur’s first Senheng x Samsung Premium Experience Store at Shoppes at Four Seasons – which is located right next to Suria KLCC.
