When the Health Minister announced the new relaxed SOP last month, just before Eid, he noted that the MySejahtera app will receive more updates and features in step with the country’s transition in the endemic phase.
One of those features is the Infection Disease Tracker. Previously it was only used to track Covid-19 cases. Now it could also track other infectious diseases such as Measles, Hand Foot and Mouth Disease, Dengue, and Rabies.
The information could be used as an early warning to indicate if there is an outbreak or high risk of infection for these dangerous diseases in an area.
To get this feature, you’ll have to update the MySejahtera app to version 1.1.9 or later.
To get to the Infection Disease Tracker on the MySejahtera app, launch the app, and close the check-in window to get to the main page. Then tap the middle icon.
