TikTok is now accepting registration from Malaysian sellers to open up shop in the soon to be launched TikTok Shop.

Just like most other eCommerce platforms, sellers would have the option of selling their wares on their own or via TikTok’s shipping partner and offer free shipping.

Buyers would also have several payment options including cash on delivery.

While the eCommerce platform landscape looks already matured with clear favourites, TikTok has a huge advantage coming into the game with its abundance of loyal users.

According to Amanz, sellers will have a special icon on their page to sell their wares. Sellers can also promote and sell their wares via TikTok’s short videos.

TikTok Shop has been proven in other countries. In this region, it is already available in Indonesia.

TikTok Shop is expected to be launched in Malaysia this year.

You can register your interest in becoming a TikTok Shop seller here.
