No Consumer Electronics Show (CES) is complete without some kind of all-in-one entertainment throne.
LG display is set to bring two flexible OLED concepts to CES 2022 in Las Vegas.
The Media Chair is a rotating curved 55in OLED TV attached to a recliner. The display has a curvature of 1,500R and Cinematic Sound OLED (CSO) technology built in.
It means that the display vibrates to produce audio. It works in concert with the speakers built into the chair.
The display can also rotate, from a portrait to a landscape mode, at a push of a button.
LG Display told The Verge that they are working with a Korean massage chair manufacturer to bring this product to the market.
The Virtual Ride is a stationary bike combined that features three 55in 4K OLED panels curved into one r-shaped display.
The top screen has a curvature of just 500R, which LG Display claims is the tightest bend on a large display, to put things into perspective Samsung’s 49-in Odyssey G9 monitor has a 1,000R curve.
