Details of the Keluarga Malaysia Pass were finally revealed recently by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.

The RM15 travel pass by Prasarana Malaysia Berhad lets the public take full advantage of the public transportation in Klang Valley.

Each one-day pass lets a group of four take unlimited rides on Prasarana-owned bus and rail services.

This includes rides on the Light Rail Transit (LRT), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), the monorail and the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT).

According to a report, the Keluarga Malaysia Pass will be available starting 1 Dec.

However, the pass is only valid during weekends and public holidays.

In June last year, Prasarana Malaysia Berhad introduced the MY30 unlimited travel pass, a highly discounted variant of the MY100 unlimited travel pass.

It works the same way as the Keluarga Malaysia Pass, but it is valid for 30 days. The MY30 pass will be phased out at the end of the year.
