Apple has just released the iOS 15.1.1 update. Although it is not as chock-full of features as iOS 15.2, it will solve an annoying problem that causes call drops on iPhone 12 and 13 models.
While there wasn’t a lot of complaints regarding the dropped calls, it is nice to see that Apple is paying attention.
Apple’s release note stated that users should experience less call drops after installing the update.
The update seems to only target iPhone 12 and 13 series models, other devices that are able to run iOS 15 wont see the update.

If you own one of the stated models, you can update the iOS by going to Settings, then click on General, Software Update and click on Download and Install, after that the device should reboot and the update is complete.
Else, just wait for the iOS 15.2 update. Currently in beta, the iOS15.2 update adds a manual fiction to the iPhone 13 macro mode, and adds an App Privacy Report which lets you know which applications are sharing your data.
The iOS 15.2 also features the ability to manually scan for stray AirTags to check that you are not being tracked.
The iOS15.2 update is expected to be released soon.
