Clubhouse CEO, Paul Davison and its global head of marketing, Maya Watson, recently announced that pinned links are coming to the audio-only chat and social platform.
The new feature lets moderators put a permanent link at the top of their Clubhouse session. The link could be pointed to their website, podcast, Patreon, or whatever donation platform they are using.
Davidson, at the On The Verge event, said that some links will not be allowed for security purposes.
The feature will be rolled out on 27 Oct on both iOS and Android.
Meanwhile, Clubhouse is also testing new ways for its users to monetize their content on the platform. For example, through ticketing and subscriptions.
Clubhouse is currently one of the best places to hang out and listen to some of Malaysia’s top talents and creatives.
From visual artists to musicians, they congregated on the virtual platform during the pandemic because they could not share a drink and chat at the local Mamak shop.
With almost the whole country going into PPN Phase 4 and interstate travel is now allowed, the halls of Clubhouse are a little quieter. But gems like Malaysian Musicians on CH with Az Samad and Altimet, still shines.
