Almost a year after Twitter tested the Spaces feature, the company is finally opening the feature to everyone on the site. Yes, everyone.

Starting today, everyone that uses an Android or iOS system can host a Twitter Space, no matter how many people are following them.

Before this only accounts with higher than 600 followers could host a Space with Twitter stating that this is to ensure a “good experience” while using the feature.

The reason that it took this long for Twitter to release the feature to everyone is the company spent the last few months enhancing the experience significantly by adding more features.

It recently added the co-hosting feature on Spaces so users can recruit people for moderation, making it a more appealing feature to use on the app.
