To alleviate parents’ worries as classes in public schools have started, the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) have introduced a new tool that details the vaccination rate at schools.
The launch of School Search was announced by Health Minister Khairy Jamaluddin in a tweet. It is hoped that the new feature will give confidence and comfort to parents, teachers, and not to mention students.

For now, the schools listed are mainly KPM schools. Private schools can opt in by emailing covidnow@moh.gov.my with the email subject 'COVIDNOW Inclusion'. pic.twitter.com/aQCbjuGU41
Currently, the data available are mainly for schools under the purview of the MOE.
The data presented will include the vaccination rates of students and staff of a particular school.
It displays the percentage of students and staff, including support staff, who had their first dose and have completed their vaccination.
There is also a chart showing vaccination rates by cohorts. It lists the percentage of those vaccinated based on the year they were born.
