When Marvel’s Spider-Man was released on PS4 back in 2018, the title received many awards and became one of the best-selling PS4 games with more than 20 million copies sold. After that, the game received a sequel, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and now Sony has announced the release time frame for the technically third game in the series even though Insomniac calls it “Spider-Man 2”.

Spider-Man 2 takes place after the events of the prequels and as we can see from the reveal trailer, Peter Parker and Miles Morales are going to be teaming up to fight Venom.

Neither Sony nor Insomniac Games have released any synopsis of this game other than announcing that it will be coming in the fall of 2023 and will be exclusive to the PS5.

If you want to play this game and you still don’t have a PS5, there’s still plenty of time to get one. It should be easier to get one now as Sony Interactive Entertainment president, Jim Ryan said they have resolved the supply issues.
