A Malaysian artist, Tintoy Chuo, unveiled a wall mural and shadow puppets to commemorate the launch of this new game as guests were invited to be the first to preview an experiential showcase of God of War themed activities, including Family Portrait Series, Father & Son: A Special Bond illustration, God of War Ragnarök weapons installation and showcase of exciting merchandise collaborations with fashion brands such as CASETiFY, #FR2 and New Era.

Tintoy Chuo from Malaysia is the founder and primary concept creator for Fusion Wayang Kulit, dedicated to reviving this traditional shadow puppetry art by merging it with pop culture and Sci-fi icons such as superheroes and Japanese mecha. They have been featured on CNN, Wall Street Journal, BBC UK, NZZ Folio, Nikkei Asia amongst others.

Tintoy turned Kratos and Atreus into the traditional Malaysian shadow puppets (Wayang Kulit) depicting their identities with incredible details while maintaining the principle of traditional puppet-making.

Kratos’ puppet is based on the great warrior figure of the traditional story: Hanuman. His armour and weapon were carefully transformed into shadow puppet style, making it look proper and powerful.

As for Atreus, it is based on the great archer, Seri Rama. His costume was made to ensure the motifs and linings were smooth throughout the puppet. In traditional Malaysian shadow puppets, puppets stand on a creature that represents their status, therefore he put Kratos and Atreus standing on the Bear and Wolf who represent them in the God of War Ragnarök.
