Malaysia Universities Duke It Out In The University e-League

University students from all over Malaysia will compete in FIFA 22, VALORANT, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile.

University e-League (UEL) is a national university esports league and open to all university students across Malaysia. The aim of UEL is to provide a competitive platform for developing student esports athletes. UEL is developed and co-organised by Prime Sports International (PSI) and Esports Business Network (EBN).

This week, UEL kicked off its collegiate esports competition with its first out of four game titles – FIFA 22. This round of competition saw 50 students representing their universities competing in a Qualifiers and Playoff round to earn the top spot in the Grand Finals set to be held next month.

Following three days of intense e-football competition, the Playoffs drew to a close with two players from UiTM securing their place in the Grand Finals set to be held on 11 December 2022.

In the coming weeks, over 200 university teams going head-to-head in games such as VALORANT, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang and PUBG Mobile.

The broadcast of the UEL Playoffs will be live-streamed every Saturday and Sunday consecutively from now until 20 November 2022, while the Grand Finals will take place on the 10 and 11 December 2022. You can catch the broadcast of UEL via the UEL Facebook page on the following dates:

  • VALORANT Playoffs: 5th & 6th November 2022
  • Mobile Legends Playoffs: 12th & 13th November 2022
  • PUBG Mobile Playoffs: 19th & 20th November 2022
