After seeing the success of young Malaysians bringing back three gold medals in esports events at the 2022 Commonwealth Esports Championships, the Ministry of Youth and Sports welcomes the ESL One tournament powered by Intel to Malaysia.
The third Dota 2 tournament in Malaysia will once again be held at Resorts World Genting.
12 teams from all over the world will converge and compete for the ESL One Malaysia 2022 title and a prize pool of US$400,000.
The local esports community has managed to put Malaysia’s mark on the world’s biggest esports stages.
From our esports athletes’ recent success in the Commonwealth Games and SEA Games, to our Malaysian representatives competing in ESL One Malaysia 2022 and other professional tournaments both local and global, I hope to see the continuous and sustainable growth of the esports industry and will continue supporting our flag bearers.
