There are quite a number of Marvel video games out there, ranging from card games to pinball. There’s no shortage of them. It’s no surprise that game developers continue to try to create a game based on the well-beloved franchise.
In 2020, there was a triple-A Marvel game, Marvel’s Avengers, developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix. But that game was a flop, panned by critics and fans alike for its terrible microtransactions, bugs, poor gameplay mechanics, etc.
But Square Enix redeemed themselves when they released Guardians of the Galaxy in 2021, developed by Eidos-Montréal, which is a far better game. Now there’s another one. Hopefully, this game will be much better than Marvel’s Avengers.
An article by Polygon reported that another postponement has been made for Marvel’s Midnight Suns. In its Monday quarterly results release, publisher Take-Two disclosed the delay. It will be launched before 31 March, 2023, at least on certain consoles, as the specific launch window is inside the 2023 fiscal year.
We have made the decision to move back the launch timing of Marvel’s Midnight Suns to ensure the teams at Firaxis Games and 2K deliver the best possible experience for our fans.
The title will launch later this fiscal year on Windows PC, Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5. The Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch versions will follow at a later date.

Marvel’s Midnight Suns is a turn-based tactical RPG game similar to previous Firaxis titles such as XCOM: Enemy Unknown and XCOM 2. In this game, you get to team up with popular superheroes like Iron Man, Wolverine, Spiderman, Captain Marvel, and others, to fight against demonic forces.
The game was supposed to come out in March 2022. However, it was delayed to October 2022. Hopefully it won’t be delayed again.
