Have you ever wondered what it feels like to be a cat and live a cat’s life? One French indie studio, BlueTwelve Studio, has crafted a game that revolves around a stray cat that ends up unexpectedly in a cyberpunk city with robots only. The title of the game is “Stray.” It is an adventure and platforming title that has you exploring the city, discovering what is underneath it, and finding your way home.
The game was released on PS4, PS5 and PC just very recently and it has received very positive reviews (probably because it’s a cat and who doesn’t love cats?). Though the game has some performance issues on PC, and it is only about five hours long, that doesn’t stop people from playing and enjoying what could be the Game-of-the-Year for many gamers.
According to steam250 top ranking games of 2022 on Steam, Stray has snatched the top spot from the 2018 God of War, which was released in January 2022 on Steam, receiving “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on the digital games distribution platform. The third place goes to PowerWash Simulator, and as the name implies, you play as a cleaner, cleaning things.
