The ezAdu app, developed under the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN), simplifies the process of lodging consumer complaints in Malaysia.
Downloading and Setting Up the ezAdu App
To begin, download the ezAdu app from your preferred app store such as the Google Play Store, Apple software Store, Huawei App Gallery, and GAMMA. Once downloaded, log in or register for an account on the app’s login screen.
Steps to Lodge a Complaint
Step 1: Make a new complaint (Buat aduan baru)

From the main menu, click the “+” button at the lower centre of the screen to create a new complaint.
Step 2: Fill in the complaint report (Pengisian laporan aduan)

In this step, you’ll need to provide comprehensive information about the issue. This includes relevant details about the product, service, or establishment you’re complaining about. Be as detailed and clear as possible to ensure the KPDN fully understands your complaint.
Step 3: Marking the location of the complaint (Penampiran lokasi aduan)

The app allows you to pinpoint the geographic location related to your complaint. This feature helps KPDN officers in case an on-site investigation is necessary.
Step 4: Attach a picture as evidence (Lampiran gambar produk)

The ezAdu app lets you upload photographic evidence to support your case. You can attach images of the product, receipt, or any other relevant visual proof to strengthen your complaint.
After filling out all of the required fields and attaching any documentation, review your complaint before submitting it.
Additional Features
The app also has a “Semak Aduan” (Check Complaints) option, which allows you to evaluate your existing complaints. There is a user profile section where you may manage your personal information, as well as a “Hubungi Kami” (Contact Us) option to contact assistance via phone, WhatsApp, or email.

What Happens Next?
After submitting your complaint, you can check its status and track the action taken by the KPDN against the complaint directly through the app.
The ezAdu app offers a streamlined, efficient, and user-friendly platform for protecting consumer rights in Malaysia.
