Kuala Lumpur based music group Salammusik has announced the release of their first ever Non-Fungible Token (NFT) artwork called SEDIA on the OpenSea marketplace. It is the visual representation of the song Sedia, the opening track of their third studio album RIWAYAT.
The song tells the story of Malaysia’s history with colonisation and the Malaysians’ mindset when there is a threat of foreign invasion.
Salammusik’s First NFT
Creating art is bringing new combination of elements in the medium, like tones in music, words in literature or paints on canvas. The elements existed beforehand but not in the same combination; creation is the re-formation of pre-existing materials.
